Spring Mission Trips to Honduras
March 10 – 17, La Esperanza, Intibuca, Honduras. (Postponed)
Hiking the mountains of Intibuca sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Lenca people of Honduras. We will use an evangelistic video called La Esperanza (The Hope), as well as the medium of fútbol to build relationships. We will have two teams that will each hike to three different mountain villages that have no churches of any denomination. Our goal is to go back into these villages and start churches.
April 6 – 13, La Esperanza, Intibuca, Honduras. (Closed)
During the week of Apr. 6-13 LTW will be hosting a group of High School students from Gaston Christian School as we minister in the mountains of western Honduras. This trip will be in partnership with our ongoing ministry to the Lenca. Plans are also to partner with Habitat for Humanity International to build houses in a rural Lenca village.
Summer Mission Trips to Honduras
June 9-16, Santiago, Marcala, Honduras. (Closed)
During the week of June 9-16 we will be ministering in the Lenca village of Santiago, Marcala. We will be constructing homes and finishing a church. We will also be sharing the Gospel through VBS with the children of the village and evangelistic services each evening.
June 9-16, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of June 9-16 we will be ministering to orphaned children through our camp ministry. Each summer we take over 100 orphans to camp as a way to get them off their campuses and treat them to a summer camp experience. We are currently seeking groups and individuals to staff this orphan camp.
June 15-22, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. (FULL)
During the week of June 15-22 we will be ministering to orphaned children through our camp ministry. Each summer we take over 100 orphans to camp as a way to get them off their campuses and treat them to a summer camp experience. We are currently seeking groups and individuals to staff this orphan camp.
June 22-29, La Esperanza, Intibuca, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of June 22-29 we will be ministering in several Lenca village surrounding La Esperanza, Intibuca. One of our primary ministries will be providing dental care for people in villages surrounding La Esperanza. We will be putting concrete floors in homes. Another important part of our ministry will be sharing the Gospel through VBS with the children in the villages and evangelistic services each evening.
June 29-July 6, Santiago, La Paz, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of June 22-29 we will be ministering in the Lenca village of San Isidro, La Paz. We will be putting concrete floors in homes. We will also be sharing the Gospel through VBS with the children of the village and evangelistic services each evening.
July 6-13, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of July 6-13 we will be ministering to orphaned children through our camp ministry. Each summer we take over 100 orphans to camp as a way to get them off their campuses and treat them to a summer camp experience. We are currently seeking a few individuals to complete our camp staff for this orphan camp.
July 13-20, La Esperanza, Intibuca, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of July 13-20 we will be ministering just outside of the town of La Esperanza, Intibuca. We will be partnering with a church planter who is starting a church near the town dump. We will be improving living conditions as well as sharing the Gospel through VBS with the children of the village and evangelistic services each evening.
July 13-20, Guinope, Honduras. (FULL)
During the week of July 20-29 we will be ministering just outside of the capital city of Tegucigalpa ministering in the small town of Guinope. We will be partnering with Iglesia Vida Abundante to help them reach their town for Christ. We will be doing a variety projects including home reconstruction, VBS and evangelistic ministries in the public schools.
July 20-29, Buenos Aires, Honduras. (OPEN)
During the week of August 3-12 we will be ministering just north of the capital city of Tegucigalpa in the small town of Buenos Aires. We will be partnering with a small group of believers to help reach their village through servant evangelism projects and children’s ministry projects.
